A safe place to understand yourself, heal, and grow
“Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — Carl Jung
Learning about ourselves is a courageous journey. You do not have to navigate that journey alone.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, therapy should feel like a place where you can be heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to make beginning therapy feel approachable, caring, and supportive.

About Me
My approach to therapy is grounded in an existential and relational approach. I believe that creating a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship is essential to meaningful growth.
Our emotions often have something important to tell us. When we slow down and create space to understand what we are feeling—and what those feelings may be communicating—we can begin to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves, our relationships, and the ways we engage with the world around us.
If you or your child is struggling to understand what your mind and body are communicating, managing difficult emotions, navigating relationships, or healing from experiences that have made engaging in life more difficult, having someone in your corner can make a meaningful difference.
Therapy is not about having all the answers. It is about having a place where you can explore questions, experiences, emotions, and relationships with someone who is there to listen and walk alongside you.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate challenges, healing, and personal growth. I have also experienced my own journey of growth and healing, which has shaped the compassion and understanding I bring into my work with others.
My hope is to create a therapeutic environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself, explore what matters most to you, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the people you care about.

Therapy for children, teens, adults, and families in East Nashville
Individual therapy provides a private, supportive space to slow down, explore what you are experiencing, and better understand yourself.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- ADHD and executive functioning challenges
- Emotional and behavioral regulation
- Grief and loss
- Trauma and difficult life experiences
- Relationship challenges
- Emotional exploration and self-understanding
- Life transitions
- Personal growth and identity exploration
For parents seeking support for their child, therapy can provide a space where children and adolescents can learn to recognize their emotions, understand their experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and build stronger relationships.
For adults, therapy can provide an opportunity to step back from the demands of everyday life and explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences with greater curiosity and compassion.
Families can care deeply about one another and still struggle to communicate or understand each other.
Family therapy provides an opportunity to slow down, listen, and work toward understanding one another in a supportive environment. Together, we can work toward:
- Improving communication
- Navigating conflict
- Understanding one another’s perspectives
- Addressing unresolved issues
- Strengthening relationships
- Creating healthier patterns within the family
The goal in family therapy is to create greater understanding and help family members move forward together.
Sometimes stepping outside of the traditional therapy office can create a different kind of space for reflection and connection.
Outdoor therapy incorporates nature into the therapeutic experience, providing an opportunity to step away from the traditional office environment and connect with the natural world while engaging in therapy.
Nature can offer a sense of openness, movement, grounding, and perspective. For some clients, being outdoors can make the therapeutic process feel more natural and comfortable.
Outdoor therapy may be an option when it is clinically appropriate and can be conducted safely and confidentially.

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating. It does not have to be. A brief phone call gives us a chance to talk about what you are looking for, answer your questions, and see whether working together may be a good fit. You can also reach out by email if that feels more comfortable.
